Quality begins long before the rice reaches our processing facilities. It starts with responsible sourcing, modern processing techniques, strict quality control, and a commitment to meeting the expectations of customers across the world.

Chief Executive Officer, H&H Rice Processing Mills

Our Process

From paddy to plate, in seven stages.

Every sack that reaches a customer has passed through the same disciplined process — designed to protect grain quality at every step, whichever variety is being run.

- 01

Intake & Sourcing

Paddy is received from partner farms and logged for traceability back to source.

- 02

Cleaning & Grading

Stones, husk, and foreign matter are removed before the grain enters processing.

- 03

Parboiling / Steaming

For Sella and Steam variants, paddy is soaked and steamed to lock in nutrients.

- 04

Drying

Our tower silos bring grain to the correct moisture level before milling.

- 05

Milling & Whitening

Husk and bran layers are removed to produce White, Steam, or Sella rice.

- 06

Sorting & Packing

Grain is length- and colour-sorted, then packed to each buyer's specification.

Quality Control

Safety First. Quality Always.

It’s the standard posted at our own factory gate, and the one every batch is measured against before it ships — moisture content, broken-grain ratio, and purity checked at each stage of the process.
